2.11.3 Configuration Method

2.11.3.1 Basic Data Configuration

Create Data Class: a) Set the name of the data category. b) Set whether sub-levels can be created for data items. Since ethnicity has no sub levels, select "No". c) Set the data item source as user-defined in the settings, allowing users to define it themselves. d) Uniqueness of data item name: Validating uniqueness across the entire data category or within the same level of data items. e) Choose whether enumeration codes are auto-generated or manually entered—users can customize this based on business needs.

Set Data Item: a) On the data category list page, click "Edit" b) On the right-hand page, users can add data items using the "Add" or "Import" options.
